As a Baler Operative at our Edmonton site, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to make a difference. You'll work on a shift rotation basis, operating Baler/Fixed Plant, FLT, and Loading shovel, while maintaining good 5S standards and adhering to company health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Baler/Fixed Plant within the facility and occasional FLT and Loading shovel
  • Maintain good 5S standards in and around the Baler
  • Work to company health and safety standards
  • Complete company paperwork, including daily bale counts and defect checks

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience of operating fixed plant within an industrial environment
  • A proactive person with good organisational skills
  • A good timekeeper, team player, and ability to work independently
  • Awareness of health & safety regulations
  • Experience within the waste/recycling industry would be an advantage
