Role Overview:
The PAM Solutions Architect will be responsible for the architecture, design, and deployment of advanced privileged access management solutions tailored to meet the security needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Create and implement comprehensive PAM solutions that align with the organization's security framework. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including high-level and low-level designs. Collaborate with client stakeholders through workshops and consultation sessions.
- Administration and Support: Facilitate the transition of PAM solutions into operational status. Produce documentation to assist the Operations Team, including operational guides and troubleshooting manuals.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices and policies related to privileged access management. Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards. Work with compliance teams to deliver necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaboration and Training: Partner with IT, security, and development teams to ensure PAM solutions meet business requirements. Create and deliver training materials for IT personnel and end-users on PAM best practices. Participate in incident response efforts, providing expertise on privileged access incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging threats in PAM and cybersecurity. Identify opportunities for enhancements to PAM solutions to improve efficiency and security. Lead and engage in PAM-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT security with a focus on identity and access management. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Beyond Trust PAM solutions in architectural roles. Proven track record in designing and implementing PAM architectures in large-scale environments.
- Skills: Profound understanding of PAM principles and best practices. Strong familiarity with the Beyond Trust PAM suite, including Password Safe and Privilege Management. Proficient in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Knowledge of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Beyond Trust Certified Implementation Engineer, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly regarded.
