IT Security Architect

A forward-thinking business is seeking a skilled Security Architect to drive the development and implementation of their security infrastructure. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, this team is committed to innovation and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive security architecture artifacts to ensure seamless integration of security capabilities into projects and operations.
- Collaborate with IS architects, management, security staff, and business units to integrate security into hardware, applications, and service configurations.
- Drive continuous improvement in IT and business processes related to IS Security, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Design a security architecture process that aligns security solutions and capabilities with business, technology, regulatory, and threat drivers.
- Provide expert advice on effective security strategies and counsel on security policies and practices to business stakeholders and support teams.
- Support the Lead Architect in creating multi-year architectural roadmap forecasts, reflecting this in IT plans, annual budgets, and forecasts.
- Strong experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, application development, or cloud development.
- Practical knowledge of the information security standards domain.
- Understanding of digitalisation in a regulated environment and experience managing complex projects.
