Key Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in addressing the emotional and psychological needs of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough observations of client behaviors, noting duration, intensity, and potential triggers.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention strategies to modify behaviors.
- Collaborating with community support organizations to enhance client care.
- Maintaining accurate records of client progress and behavioral data.
- Assisting clients in identifying and adopting more appropriate behavioral alternatives.
Additional Duties:
- Provide comprehensive support to clients, enabling them to develop essential life skills. This may include personal care and assistance with daily tasks.
- Engage clients in community activities and support them in accessing various services.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to security protocols and monitoring premises.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of our services.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- NVQ Level or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of two years' experience working with clients with behavioral challenges.
- Proficient IT skills.

- Experience with Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) approaches.
