Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liferay DXP Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract assignment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Liferay and Java.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical discussions to migrate current hooks in 6.2 to Liferay DXP.
  • Develop a strategy and approach for content migration and content structure.
  • Create a script to migrate snippet portlet preferences to Liferay Content.
  • Design a template to display the migrated content via Liferay content portlet.
  • Implement automatic replacement of the existing snippet portlet with a Liferay content portlet displaying appropriate content.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conduct department knowledge transfer and training on best practices for Liferay DXP.
  • Focus on deployment, workstation/developer environment setup, dependency management, and continuous integration.
