Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a source of expertise and training in the dietetic care of patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide dietetic support to patients, both in and out-patients.
  • Manage a caseload of people who have complex needs within the in-patient setting using evidence-based, person-centered principles to assess, plan, and evaluate specialist dietetic interventions.
  • Provide the dietetic input within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Work in liaison with the catering providers to ensure that the menus provided offer a balanced diet and supplementary diets are required and the menus reflect the choices of the people accessing services.

Requirements:

  • BSc Dietetics or Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics.
  • Registered Dietitian Member of the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Documented Evidence of Continual Professional Development.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • Must have bariatric experience.
