Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our data infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Infrastructure Development
    • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, and Kinesis.
    • Develop and maintain data management systems to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide guidance on data-related projects.
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and data engineering best practices.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Extensive experience with AWS services relevant to data ingestion and processing (e.g., Lambda, Glue, Kinesis) and data warehousing with Snowflake.
    • Strong background in developing and optimizing data pipelines and data management systems.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills
    • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of data engineers.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
