Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Data Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our data infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure data pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, and Kinesis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with AWS services, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Ingestion and Processing
    • Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using AWS services such as Kinesis and Glue.
    • Develop and optimize data processing workflows using AWS services such as Lambda and Glue.
  • Data Management
    • Design and implement data management systems using AWS services such as DynamoDB and Redshift.
    • Develop and maintain data quality and integrity processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Communicate technical solutions and progress to stakeholders.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and data engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Extensive experience with AWS services relevant to data ingestion and processing (e.g., Lambda, Glue, Kinesis) and data warehousing with Snowflake.
    • Strong background in developing and optimizing data pipelines and data management systems.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of data engineers.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
