About Us: Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron science facility. By accelerating electrons to near light-speed, we generate brilliant beams of light from infra-red to X-rays which are used for academic and industrial research.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead projects associated with the replacement or upgrading of electrical/mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects valued at < £250k and a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
