About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to join our team at DataCareers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our Security / Cyber Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the Security / Cyber Engineering team to ensure the delivery of high-performing security solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Define and implement a long-term cyber engineering roadmap to maximize our defenses and minimize risks.
  • Cybersecurity: Maintain and enhance the effectiveness of our cybersecurity toolsets, including Microsoft security services, third-party solutions, and network security technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to align security initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure a unified approach to cybersecurity.
  • Incident Response: Provide expert guidance and support in response to security incidents, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continually improve our security posture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading a cybersecurity team with hands-on expertise in network security technologies.
  • In-depth technical experience with Microsoft security and infrastructure services, including Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and more.
  • Expertise in integrating and supporting third-party security solutions with Microsoft cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent understanding of network architecture design and hands-on support.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Cyber certifications such as (ISC)2 ISSEP or SSCP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
