Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Lead to join our team in Eastbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic solutions, facilitating New Product Introduction (NPI) for vacuum pump systems within the Atlas Copco Vacuum Technique business area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic solutions for vacuum pump systems
  • Facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) for vacuum pump systems
  • Collaborate with Product Management to push the boundaries of new product offerings
  • Establish close relationships with other disciplines within the team to ensure products meet safety, quality, and reliability standards
  • Develop and implement project management plans using Waterfall and Agile frameworks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Significant knowledge of electronics design principles and experience in applying them to electronics products
  • Excellent communication and fluency in spoken and written English
  • Experience working in a global engineering environment and with international teams
  • Project management experience using Waterfall and Agile frameworks
