The Ernest Cook Trust is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance natural capital and address climate change impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable practices and policies to support the Trust's mission
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage scientific and economic data to inform decision-making
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of long-term strategies for natural capital enhancement
- Develop and implement projects to promote sustainable practices and policies
- Provide reporting and communication to stakeholders on the Trust's sustainability initiatives
About You:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing sustainability programmes and initiatives. You will have a strong understanding of natural capital concepts and climate science, as well as excellent analytical and research skills.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Environmental Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
- Experience in natural capital management, climate change mitigation/adaptation, environmental policy, or related areas
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability programmes and initiatives
- Strong understanding of natural capital concepts and climate science
- Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
