Senior Corporate Financial Accountant - Capex & Central Functions

This is an exciting opportunity to join a private equity-backed, multi-site entertainment business that is growing both in the UK and internationally.

The Senior Corporate Financial Accountant - Capex & Central Functions will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of capital expenditure accounting, including:

  • Budgeting
  • Financial analysis
  • Approval process
  • Reporting
  • Compliance

This role will be key in driving the success and direction of global Property and Technology investment, owning the end-to-end Capex process. Additionally, as the Finance owner for Central Functions, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our global cost base and developing the cost allocation process to best represent investment across the business and to support transfer pricing optimization.

You'll report to the Head of Commercial Finance and work closely with the rest of the Finance team and key stakeholders in the business.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent
  • Experience managing Capex processes and reporting
  • Proven track record of implementing and improving processes
  • Able to hit the ground running and deliver results in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround environment
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong preference for experience working for a private equity-backed company
  • Strong financial modeling skills and business case development
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Knowledge of Finance Systems, in particular TM1, is an advantage
