Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our client's Panel South team working across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring and assuring the governance of all design activities for a specific project/projects across the lifetime of the project/projects.

This includes Pre-contract, Mobilisation, Construction & Handback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure and assure the governance of all design activities for a specific project/projects.
  • Coordinate and manage design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain design documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and railway regulation obligations.

Requirements

  • Strong design background and knowledge of contractual and railway regulation obligations.
  • Exceptional coordination and project management skills.
  • Experience of design management across a series of multi-disciplinary rail systems.
  • Financial and planning experience.
  • CAD / Microsoft Office skills.
  • Full driving licence.
  • PTS.
