Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team as a Community Podiatry Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients in community settings, including GP surgeries and patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatments to patients with complex foot conditions, including those with diabetes, vascular disease, and chronic neuropathy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in podiatry.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Podiatrist.
  • Post-registration experience in community podiatry, including treatment of at-risk feet.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines and local protocols.
