We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team as a Community Podiatry Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients in community settings, including GP surgeries and patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatments to patients with complex foot conditions, including those with diabetes, vascular disease, and chronic neuropathy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and quality initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in podiatry.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Podiatrist.
- Post-registration experience in community podiatry, including treatment of at-risk feet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines and local protocols.
