We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding young people aged 10 to 18 who are in secure accommodation due to court proceedings or for their safety and the safety of others.

As a HLTA, you will provide 1:1 support for young people with additional learning needs across the curriculum, lead a team of care practitioners to support the daily lives of young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, and actively engage with and mentor young people, helping them develop both academically and personally.

We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable, and experienced candidates who can build strong, supportive relationships with vulnerable young people. You will require strong IT skills, experience working with challenging behaviour in a residential or educational environment, a Level 4 qualification in education delivery (or commitment to achieve it), and a solid understanding of child and adolescent development, child protection, and safeguarding policies.
