The ideal applicant will possess a robust electrical background and hold relevant electrical certifications, such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, along with the 18th Edition qualification as a minimum requirement.

This position involves collaborating with a team at various retail locations, performing a diverse range of building maintenance tasks.

The primary objective of this role is to execute both planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist fellow technicians with both major and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Complete all necessary Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timelines, ensuring all required documentation is accurately filled out.
  • Prioritize and finalize minor maintenance and repair tasks within set deadlines.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are consistently available and in good working condition.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM tasks, there may be occasions when the Technician is required to attend other sites within the cluster to perform work.
  • Collaborate with company and client colleagues to uphold established quality standards at all times.
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times and foster positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system, ensuring real-time job updates from yourself and your team.

Qualifications:
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / maintenance
- Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
- 18th Edition

Compensation Package:
- Basic Salary: £38,377 (including standby)
- Call Out: 1 in 4
- Paid Travel Time
- Overtime: 1.5x Monday - Friday, 2x Weekends
