We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to improve their work situation and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with therapists to deliver an integrated package of person-centred care for clients.
  • Support clients in improving their work situation and addressing any mental health-related barriers.
  • Develop and deliver tailored support plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Liaise with employers, job centres, and other stakeholders to advocate for clients and secure employment opportunities.
  • Conduct CV reviews, mock interviews, and provide assertiveness training to enhance clients' employability skills.
About You

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs. As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Experience working in a mental health or employment support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
