Role Overview

The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting a range of IT initiatives, working closely with departmental resources and the broader charity to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project progress in collaboration with internal and partner project managers.
  • Coordinate project reporting, facilitate weekly review meetings, and provide comprehensive project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective project delivery by managing assigned tasks.
  • Communicate with the organization regarding IT project implementations, network issues, and facility-related work.
  • Monitor project interdependencies and report on advancements.
  • Manage and track project purchase orders.
  • Compile and update portfolio-level risks and issues.
  • Maintain budget trackers for the portfolio.
  • Keep project schedules up to date.
  • Identify and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Assist in project delivery as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in IT project management, particularly with Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 applications.

Proven expertise in managing project budgets exceeding £1 million and overseeing multiple full lifecycle implementations is essential.

Strong teamwork abilities and proficiency in written and spoken English are required, as our patients and colleagues expect adherence to St Andrew's CARE values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
