Position: Fire & Security Operations Manager

Salary: A competitive remuneration package up to £60,000 is available for a qualified Operations Manager (Fire & Security) based in the London region.

Role Overview:
As the Fire & Security Operations Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team of 8 Fire & Security Technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, and commissioning tasks on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Fire & Security Operations Manager, your duties will include:
  • Leading and managing the engineering team effectively
  • Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers
  • Guiding and supporting project evaluations
  • Recruiting and training new engineering personnel
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
  • Maintaining quality assurance of work performed by engineering staff and subcontractors in line with NSI Gold standards
  • Conducting weekly inspections for attendance and workmanship quality
  • Managing and addressing engineering escalations within the department
  • Participating in monthly management meetings to collaborate with other senior leaders
  • Overseeing and delegating small-scale projects to project engineers or subcontractors as necessary
  • Ensuring consistent installation and service delivery across the client base in accordance with industry standards and company protocols
  • Monitoring the performance and compliance of approved subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the approved listing
