Overview of the Role:

The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor at Flowserve is responsible for directing the efforts of the production team in relation to manufacturing processes, inventory oversight, and quality control. The successful candidate will promote effective production workflows while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient understanding of CNC programming techniques
  • Operating a variety of machinery including lathes, milling machines, and both vertical and horizontal borers
  • Implementing statistical process control methodologies
  • Coordinating production schedules across multiple workstations
  • Monitoring and managing key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Applying lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications
  • Assisting in job setups and machine assignments
  • Carrying out additional duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to effectively plan and organize work tasks
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with various machining equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with ISO compliance standards
