Job Summary

Suffolk Primary Care is a forward-thinking primary care team that prides itself on being well-established, friendly, and flexible. As a training practice, we support, train, and professionally develop the right individual to meet our patients' needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team on a 6-8 session basis. Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations, and queries, as well as visiting patients at home and checking and signing repeat prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations, and queries in a timely fashion
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
  • Engage with activities such as the QOF, LES/DES, and other additional work essential for providing a full service for patients
