About the Role

The Graduate Project is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer data to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales strategies.

  • Ecommerce Engagement: Respond to and prioritize inquiries from our ecommerce platforms, ensuring timely and effective customer service.
  • Internal Collaboration: Liaise between our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product features to maintain a competitive edge and drive business growth.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales/account management experience.
  • Strong initiative, drive, and focus, with a passion for engaging with customers daily.
  • Excellent analytical skills for sales analysis and reporting, with experience in database maintenance being highly beneficial.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Desirable Skills

We also welcome candidates with:

  • Sales experience within consumer durable goods, stationery, or medical sectors.
  • Full, clean UK driving license for potential customer visits and trade show attendance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process gaps and suggest efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM tools or dashboards such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or PowerBI is highly desirable.
