Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to join our team at RedFish Solutions. As a Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Health and Safety Best Practices: Develop and implement effective health and safety best practices to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Safe Systems of Work: Maintain a safe system of work and a safe environment for colleagues and clients.
  • Communication and Engagement: Engage and communicate with operational staff, including direct and subcontractors, to ensure a culture of safety and quality.
  • Audits and Investigations: Conduct regular audits and investigate accidents, incidents, and utility damages to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Ensure that employees receive appropriate training in health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard)
  • Certifications: EUSR or CSCS in a related subject, NRSWA (SWQR), and working knowledge of HSG47
  • Experience: Gas experience and a strong understanding of the gas utility sector
