Senior Power BI Developer

iO Associates, a leading UK/EU-based consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join their team on a contract basis.

Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer

Day Rate: £500 Outside IR35

Location: Hybrid model, 2 days per week in the office

Length: 6 months initial, likely extensions until the end of 2025

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Power BI and a proven track record of creating progressive programs to enhance its use. They will also be responsible for analyzing and inspecting incoming data to ensure efficient data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced Power BI skills and create innovative solutions
  • Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data engineering and data modeling
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices

Requirements:

  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and data modeling
  • Strong SQL experience and knowledge of Azure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with data engineering and data modeling
  • Ability to work in an agile team environment
