Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant at Academics Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to identify and address the cognitive, behavioural, and emotional needs of students.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized learning plans and strategies to support students with additional needs.
- Provide one-to-one support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and speech and language therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
