Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Manufacturing Operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge products to a worldwide customer base, with a focus on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Delivery of aircraft components.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement local strategies to drive business performance and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead a large and diverse team to deliver complex projects and programs, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Analyse and challenge reports to identify opportunities for improvement and influence business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement Lean practices

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Senior Executive in a Manufacturing or similar environment, with a focus on delivery and operational excellence
  • Experience of production methodology, operational excellence, and relevant tool sets, such as Policy Deployment and Lean practices
  • Ability to manage conflict, negotiate trade-offs, and deliver solutions that build a collaborative approach
