About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Waste Collection Specialist to join our team at Connect2Luton. As a Waste Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting waste from residential and commercial properties in the Luton Borough area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting waste from residential and commercial properties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Recording all rounds completed with the team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Supporting the team with other duties as required to ensure rounds are completed within set periods.
- Returning bins to their homes once they have been emptied.
- Reporting any incidents within the safety guidelines.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
- Confident and well-mannered when interacting with members of the public.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses during busy periods.
