Job Summary

The Aurora Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough cleaning of floors, including vacuuming and mopping
  • Perform spot cleaning of spillages and wipe down surfaces
  • Empty and clean bins on a daily basis
  • Clean toilets, including sanitary fittings and surrounds
  • Maintain hard floor surfaces through mopping and spray cleaning
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting and polishing
  • Replenish janitorial supplies as needed
  • Ensure the building is secure and report any defects or hazards

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and duties
