Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors
  • Empty and clean bins, and replenish janitorial supplies
  • Clean toilets, including sanitary fittings and surrounds
  • Wipe and polish furniture, ledges, and other surfaces
  • Check and close windows, and switch off lights after work
  • Report any defects or hazards to management

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
