Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team at Randstad UK. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by responding to a range of enquiries from external and internal sources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Enquiry Management: Respond to enquiries from external and internal sources, ensuring that our organization meets its obligations to provide/disclose information in line with legislative requirements.
  • Data Quality: Assist with nationally and locally held data in relation to data quality, accuracy, content, and retention, ensuring that data is fit for purpose and up to date.
  • Disclosure Management: Collate, assess, and interrogate information held from various systems, making decisions regarding non-disclosure or disclosure while adhering to the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF).
  • Communication: Provide advice to internal stakeholders on all aspects of disclosure matters and information on related policing regarding disclosure issues.
  • Caseload Management: Manage own caseloads, ensuring timeliness and quality of information input in accordance with required standards.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete department administrative duties, including recording, receipt, processing, results, redaction, and preparing disclosure reports for review.
Requirements
  • Legislative Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Police Act 1997, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, and Protection of Freedom Act 2012.
  • Communication Skills: Good standard of written and verbal communications for correspondence and reports.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to demonstrate analytical skill, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate good problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times while working with sensitive data.
