About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere. You will work closely with students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour
  • Work closely with students to identify and address underlying issues that may be contributing to challenging behaviour
  • Provide individual and group support to students to help them develop social and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies and make recommendations for improvement
