Senior Reinsurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reinsurance Claims Specialist to join our team at HFG Insurance Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex reinsurance claims and providing exceptional service to our clients.
About the Role:- Communicate effectively with brokers, clients, and third parties to adjust claims according to company guidelines, authority limits, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company in the market by attending meetings, supporting underwriters, and participating in industry events.
- Provide guidance to Claims Adjusters, address issues, and escalate any necessary improvements to management.
- Manage claims across different accounts and classes of business, utilizing various platforms.
- Keep clients and brokers informed throughout the claim process, adhering to agreed-upon terms and timelines.
- Collaborate with actuaries and underwriters, setting case reserves, and investigating claims to ensure policy conditions are met.
- Work with brokers to address missing information and pursue recovery from third parties when necessary.
- Experience with Quota Share, Clash, and XOL.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance claims and casualty insurance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in handling casualty claims worldwide.
