We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team at Capita TPS. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a critical role in determining the permanence of an applicant's condition and their percentage disablement.
Key Responsibilities- Meet face-to-face with applicants to review medical evidence and gather relevant information.
- Seek additional medical evidence from healthcare professionals as needed to support the applicant's claim.
- Analyze and interpret clinical information to compile a comprehensive report for the Victims' Payments Board.
- A fully registered medical practitioner or a registered healthcare professional with a minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience.
- Valid full driving license and access to a car.
- Demonstrable background in a Mental Health/Psychiatric specialty.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work at pace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive basic salary of £38,500.
- A career pathway program with opportunities for salary increases up to £41,400.
- 23 days' holiday (rising to 25 after 2 years and 27 after 5 years).
- Annual professional registration fee reimbursement and supported revalidation.
