Position Overview:
This role focuses on ensuring the quality of parts through meticulous inspection and adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical engineering drawings to understand specifications, tolerances, and datum structures.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to assess part quality.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Employ IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases, for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance team within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001 / IATF).
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving through data evaluation.
  • Background in calibration laboratory practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or PolyWorks.
  • Experience with CMM measuring and/or 3D scanning is advantageous.
