This role focuses on ensuring the quality of parts through meticulous inspection and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical engineering drawings to understand specifications, tolerances, and datum structures.
- Utilize measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to assess part quality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Employ IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases, for documentation and reporting.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical.
- Experience in a Quality Assurance team within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001 / IATF).
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving through data evaluation.
- Background in calibration laboratory practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or PolyWorks.
- Experience with CMM measuring and/or 3D scanning is advantageous.
