Job Title: Multi Skilled Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Driver to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a Multi Skilled Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving and conducting various On-Track Machines within your allocated region, while also maintaining quality systems and stabling databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and route conduct On-Track Machines safely and effectively
  • Work safely and effectively to Colas Rail Services Operations procedures
  • Assist in maintaining quality systems and stabling databases
  • Required to undertake route learning and refreshing as and when required
  • Will be required to drive all other OTMs
  • Required to keep all routes current via the Colas Rail route app

SHEQ Responsibilities:
  • Work to applicable Safety Plans and Method Statements
  • Comply with Section 7 of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Close Calls and safety conversations submitted as per procedure

Competencies Required:
  • Proven extended experience in driving trains
  • Significant Route Knowledge
  • European Driving Licence
  • Road Driving Licence
  • PTS
  • Fire Training
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Driver Mentor
  • To be able to drive all types On-Track Machines within your allocated region
  • Trainer / Assessor Qualification (not essential)
