Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Tradewind Recruitment is collaborating with a Specialist School in Lincolnshire that supports pupils aged 5-16 years old with SEMH needs. The school values making a difference in young people's lives by providing a high-quality and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning activities and prepare resources for students.
  • Work with pupils with challenging behaviour and defuse situations.
  • Monitor students' needs and provide feedback for other staff members.
  • Promote development and learning opportunities for students that build self-esteem and independence.
  • Supervise children over break and lunch periods.
  • Be able to handle difficult situations by remaining calm.
  • Build familiarity with EHCPs of the pupils you're working with 1:1.
