About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Our supported living service in Birdwood, Forest of Dean, is a welcoming and friendly environment where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. You will be teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising, and doing lots of activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Encourage individuals to participate in activities, such as hobbies, sports, and social events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving license
