About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Thornford Park, a 130-bedded independent hospital providing medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals with mental health conditions
  • Support and mentor colleagues to promote positive teamwork and high-quality care
  • Observe, record, and report service user changes, maintaining accurate records of care provided
Requirements
  • Relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration
  • Strong team-working skills and a high level of self-motivation
  • Positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate, with a commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice
