About the Role

Infinity Energy Services is seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our growing design team as a Solar PV Design & Installation Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer interaction, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical or engineering principles, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for sustainable technologies. You'll be responsible for collaborating with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solar PV system designs that optimize energy efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive solar PV system designs using industry-leading software such as PV_SOL.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to assess roof dimensions, equipment placement, and cable routing requirements.
  • Engage with potential customers, providing expert guidance on the benefits of solar energy and tailoring solutions to their specific circumstances.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals, clearly outlining system specifications and associated costs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A background in electrical engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated passion for renewable energy technologies and sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client interaction and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software tools relevant to solar PV design.
  • Prior experience with PV_SOL or similar design software is a significant advantage.
