Consultant Physician in Diabetes Care

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our established Diabetes and Endocrine Department at Bedford Hospital, part of the Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Physician in Diabetes, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders, including general medicine and diabetes management.
- Conduct outpatient clinics and general medical inpatient ward rounds, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement subspecialty interests, with opportunities for research and publication.
- Participate in an integrated on-call rota with colleagues in Acute and General Medicine.
- Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice.
- Entry on GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR or eligibility to enter it within 6 months from the date of the interview.
- MRCP or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge and clinical expertise in General Internal Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology.
