About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Leisure Club team at Luton Hoo Hotel & Spa. As a Leisure Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests receive a high standard of care and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To actively coordinate guest/member requests within the Leisure Club, ensuring that all customers receive a high standard of Customer Care and service.
  • To provide a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and members.
  • Ensure that all pool and Leisure Club furniture is kept clean and tidy, and cushions secure.
  • Perform fitness assessments as required (once trained) to Company procedures.
  • To offer a Fitness Programme for all new members, highlighting correct use of equipment and continue to monitor.
  • To act as a Salesperson, promoting the image of the Hotel at all times.
  • To maintain a smart and tidy appearance at all times, and to comply with uniform requirements.
  • Report and hand over any lost property.

Requirements

  • An individual with excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Previous hotel health club experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • A self-motivated and hardworking individual, with initiative, who is a team player.
  • A Lifeguard qualification would be beneficial.
