Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our Site Leadership Team at Wensleydale Creamery in Yorkshire.

About the Role:

The Senior Finance Manager will provide financial leadership across both the Hawes and Kirkby Malzeard manufacturing sites and will be based at either location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of 5 to complete all financial aspects, including actual, budget, and forecast reporting.
  • Act as a business partner to the Site Director to ensure the best decisions are made for the business.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Group minimum levels of financial control and manage the balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Work with the Site Leadership Team to improve processes and drive out non-value adding activities.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of accountability and delivery of challenging targets.
  • Ability to work in a calm, controlled, positive, and effective manner, under own initiative, in a changing environment.
