Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Sodexo in Nuffield Health: Haywards Heath. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation, production, and presentation of food to the highest standard, while ensuring the nutritional needs and environmental impact of our patients, staff, and visitors are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation, production, and presentation of food to the highest standard, ensuring nutritional needs and environmental impact are met.
  • Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and maintain accurate records and accounts.
  • Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  • Support staff orientation and team training and development.
Requirements
  • 706 1 & 2 or Equivalent of experience in hands-on cooking.
  • Experience in menu planning and production.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Package Details

Fixed Term 6 Months, hours per week, 5 days over 7 (1 weekend in 3), £ per hour, Free Parking on site.
