Key Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and ready.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anaesthesia administration.
- Evaluate patients' post-operative recovery and provide appropriate care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Work as part of the Theatre Team to provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service standards.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for patients.
- Registered with the NMC/HCPC.
- High standards of clinical competence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements.
- Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction is an advantage.
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
