About the Role

GRAHAM Group is seeking a highly skilled Emerging Talent Development Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Emerging Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop emerging talent within the GRAHAM Group. This will involve working closely with various stakeholders to identify talent needs, develop recruitment and development programs, and provide support to emerging talent throughout their career journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attracting Emerging Talent:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract emerging talent from top universities and institutions.
    • Manage the development and delivery of external events, such as career fairs and information sessions, to engage with emerging talent.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop relationships with key influencers and partners in the emerging talent space.
  • Developing Emerging Talent:
    • Design and deliver training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of emerging talent.
    • Work closely with emerging talent to identify their career goals and develop personalized development plans.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to emerging talent to support their career progression.
  • Retaining Emerging Talent:
    • Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure emerging talent remains with the GRAHAM Group.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address any issues that may impact emerging talent retention.
    • Provide ongoing support and development opportunities to emerging talent to ensure they feel valued and engaged.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including emerging talent, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities for emerging talent to contribute to business projects and initiatives.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders on emerging talent development and retention metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in emerging talent development, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform emerging talent development and retention strategies.
  • Education:
    • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Other:
    • Ability to travel regularly throughout the UK to attend in-house and external events.
    • Valid UK driving license.
