Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to lead our commercial finance team and collaborate closely with the Sales function to deliver the revenue and GP strategy for the UK business.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective management of the business from a commercial financial and controlling perspective, based on the company's overall business strategy.

You will lead a team of 6 to help ensure that business decisions are grounded in sound financial analysis and will support strategic decision-making and commercial activity which adds value.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in FMCG/Commercial/Operations Finance, with a passion for numbers and data, and a genuine enjoyment in building financial control systems that maximise profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of approx. £
  • Deliver analysis and reporting that drives business decisions.
  • Shape the development and execution of net revenue realisation through customer pricing and Trade Terms.
  • Ensure a high level of control compliance across Revenue, Trade Spend and Pricing
  • Oversee the planning, communication and tracking of the business plan and LE's with a high level of forecast accuracy – covering Vol to GP
  • Approve promotional activity within agreed authorisation levels to deliver sales KPIs for the category whilst delivering Customers' business objectives.
Requirements
  • 10 years of FMCG/Commercial/Operations Finance experience
  • Ability to build strong rapport with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
