About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our Portfolio Analytics team within Retail Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing our portfolio and arrears reporting to ensure we are optimising our lending portfolio and providing insightful analytics on arrears performance.

Working closely with other areas of Retail Credit Risk, Capital and Impairment, Collections, Finance, and Treasury, you will monitor our performance and support communication of our performance to investors. As part of this role, you will regularly present to the Retail Credit Risk Committee and other forums.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining portfolio and arrears reporting to ensure it remains insightful and relevant
  • Staying up-to-date with the society's arrears policy, regulatory, and political changes that impact the lending portfolio
  • Managing a small team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, working closely with other Credit Risk Managers and the Portfolio Analytics Senior Manager
About You

This role is suited to an existing credit risk manager or an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst looking to expand into line management. You will have the ability to analyse data from a wide range of sources and be confident in presenting results to Senior leaders. Knowledge of SAS or other programming languages such as Python or R would be beneficial, as would experience of developing visual dashboards using Power BI.
