As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects, maintaining a safe working environment, and delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision and support to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate a team of installation operatives and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rota to provide support and assistance to the operations team as needed.
  • Travel to job sites throughout the UK and occasionally work away from home.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisor role within a similar environment (water industry, construction, gas, or oil).
  • Compliant working knowledge of site health and safety.
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the role.
  • Aptitude to work on client sites, including construction, wastewater, and clean water.
  • Ability to establish relationships with installation operatives and Selwood staff.
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to be part of an on-call rota.
  • Full UK driving license.
