Job Description

Renishaw, a global leader in high precision metrology and healthcare technology, is seeking an experienced Electronics Design and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Spectroscopy Products Division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge electronics and control solutions for our Raman spectrometer products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high precision electronics and control solutions for Raman spectrometers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, optical, and mechanical engineering, to deliver innovative products
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures
  • Contribute to the development of new product features and technologies
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure timely and cost-effective product development

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electronics design and development, with experience in digital and microcontroller design
  • Excellent knowledge of EDA tools, such as Altium and Zuken
  • Experience with firmware design and development
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Full driving license

Desirable Requirements:

  • Understanding of low noise analogue electronics principles
  • Knowledge of EMC standards and requirements
